Terms of service

1. Who we are and this agreement

CastMyListing is operated by Rimo Co LLC ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us for using the CastMyListing website and service. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms, our privacy policy and our acceptable use policy.

2. Who can use CastMyListing

You must be at least 18 and use CastMyListing for your work, for example as a real estate agent, broker or property marketer. Each account is for one person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account.

3. What the service does

You upload footage, photos and facts about a property. CastMyListing analyzes the footage, writes scripts, narrates them with an AI voice or your own recorded voice, and renders videos for social media platforms. Previews and changes are free; final videos use credits as described in the billing policy. We may change, add or remove features; we will tell you before a change that materially reduces what you paid for.

4. Your content

  • You keep all rights to the footage, photos, facts, recordings and other material you upload ("your content") and to the videos made from it.
  • You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, copy and transform your content only to provide the service to you and keep it secure, including sending it to the service providers listed in the privacy policy. Our staff look at your content only when you ask for support, or when needed for security or to meet the law.
  • As between you and us, you own the videos, scripts, covers and post text made for you. Templates, stickers, sound effects and other parts of our materials (section 10) stay ours and are licensed to you for use in those videos. Because the output is generated, similar text or designs may be made for other users.
  • You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for your content, including the seller's or owner's permission to film and publish the property, and the consent of any person who can be seen or heard.
  • You confirm that the listing facts you provide are accurate.

5. AI-generated output

Scripts, narration, captions, covers, stickers and post text are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. We run checks, including for Fair Housing problems, but they do not replace your judgment. You must review every video and its post text before publishing it, and you are responsible for what you publish, including compliance with advertising, Fair Housing and MLS or board rules.

6. Your voice

If you record your voice, it is used only to narrate your own videos and only after you record the consent statement. See the voice and consent policy.

7. Review links

When you create a review link, anyone who has the link can watch the videos it covers and leave comments without an account. Share it only with people you trust, and turn it off when you no longer need it.

8. Credits and payment

Prices, credits, renewals, cancellations and refunds are described in the billing and refund policy, which is part of these terms. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Monthly plans renew automatically. When you start a plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method each month at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time in Credits and billing; cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

9. Things you must not do

Do not break the acceptable use policy, try to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with the service, or copy, resell or reverse engineer it.

10. Our materials

The CastMyListing software, design, templates, sticker library and sound effects belong to us or our licensors. You may use the graphics and sounds that appear in your videos as part of those videos.

11. Suspension and ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from your account menu; this deletes your listings, files and voice recordings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other users or the service at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to download your videos.

12. Disclaimers

The service and all output are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that output will be accurate or complete, that videos will reach any number of viewers, or that any platform, MLS or board will accept them.

When you post a video to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, an MLS or any other platform, that platform's own terms apply. We don't control those platforms and aren't responsible for how they show, limit or remove your content.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, for example to liability for fraud.

14. Indemnity

You will cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by your content or by your breach of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Rimo Co LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Talk to us first. Before starting any claim, write to with a description of the issue. We both agree to try to resolve it informally for 30 days.

Arbitration. If it isn't resolved, any dispute relating to these terms or the service will be decided by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, by a single arbitrator, which may be held online or by video. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may ask a court to stop the infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

No class actions. Claims may only be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective or representative action, and you and we both waive a jury trial.

Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing within 30 days of first accepting these terms, with your name, account email and a clear statement that you opt out. If you opt out, or if this section is found unenforceable, disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts where Rimo Co LLC is organized.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived.

17. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

18. General

  • These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
  • If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not transfer these terms or your account without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, and will tell you if we do.
  • We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers, natural disasters or acts of government.
  • We may send you notices by email to your account address or in the app. Sections 4, 5, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 18 survive the end of this agreement.
  • You may not use the service where US law forbids it, or if you are on a US government list of restricted parties.
