Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information CastMyListing collects, why, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and your choices. Rimo Co LLC is responsible for this information.
What we collect
- Account: email address, name, company, password (stored only as a secure hash) and sign-in times.
- Your content: footage, photos, listing facts, scripts, captions, chat messages with the AI editor, stickers you upload, and the videos made from them.
- Voice recordings: if you record your voice, the recording, the text you read, and a consent record: the consent statement, the time and your IP address.
- Review links: comments left on your review links, with the name the commenter typed.
- Billing: your plan, credits and payment history. Card details are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach our servers.
- Technical: server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, errors) used for security and to fix problems.
How we use it
- To provide the service: analyze footage, write and narrate scripts, render videos, and show your projects.
- To run your account, billing and support, and to send service emails such as password resets.
- To keep the service secure and to fix and improve it.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, do not share it for advertising, and do not use your content or voice to train AI models. We use our AI and voice providers' paid business services, under terms that do not allow them to train their models on what we send.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers that process data only on our instructions:
- AI model providers: frames from your footage and the text of your listing are sent to label rooms and write scripts.
- Voice providers (MiniMax or ElevenLabs, when cloud voices are on): script text, and your voice sample if you use your own voice.
- Stripe: payments.
- Hosting and storage (our server provider and object storage): all of the above, stored on their infrastructure.
- Email delivery: your email address and the message, for service emails.

How long we keep it
- Original uploads and draft videos of a listing are deleted after it has been idle for 30 days. Final videos, covers, scripts and processed footage stay until you delete the listing.
- Voice recordings stay until you delete them or your account, and are deleted automatically if the account goes 3 years without use (see the voice and consent policy).
- Deleting your account deletes your listings, files and voice recordings. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires, and backups roll off within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change your account details, download your videos, delete listings, delete your voice, and delete your account at any time in the app. You can also ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct or delete it, by writing to . Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union) you may have further rights; we honor them, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and protect forms. See the cookie policy.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, project files are private to your account, and access to production systems is limited to staff who need it.
Children
CastMyListing is for professionals and not intended for anyone under 18.
International transfers
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual terms.
Changes
We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app.
